streeter:

I’m glad the portrait of Ben Franklin stayed the same on the new $100 bill. There’s something about his slight, tight frown, the paternal hint of disappointment in his eyes and those pursed, sealed lips that seem to say, “I don’t approve of what you’re doing, but I can’t stop you from rolling this banknote into a straw and ripping a fat rail of white lightning in the Buffalo Wild Wings handicapped bathroom stall, you goddamn beautiful disaster.”

Scans of fliers, cover/back cover of movie booklet, and promotional postcard for the release of Om Shanti Om in Japan from last year.

Om Shanti Om was released in Japan last year on March 16th as “Koisuru Rin’ne”. I missed its 1st anniversary a week ago but I just wanted to share these amazing artworks.

Jackie Chan wasn’t even in Jackie Chan adventures Jackie Chan didn’t voice Jackie Chan in Jackie Chan Adventures and only showed up as Live Action Jackie Chan in that one episode. We’ve been had, we’ve been lied to by members of our own government

L’Illusionniste / The Illusionist
Film d’animation / Animation feature film
Sylvain Chomet (2010)
Written by Sylvain Chomet and Jacques Tati

Jacques Tati originally wrote the script for The Illusionist. It was a love letter from a father to his first daughter, but never got produced. Sylvain Chomet, director of The Triplets of Belleville / Les Triplettes de Belleville, adapted the script and once again used his own original animated style.
